Strategic recruitment
We are in the process of registering with the Mauritian Authorities as an approved training provider. However, we do already provide training leading to professional qualifications from the UK. At Chase Derwitt, you can study and work at the same time with an HSC, as minimum requirement for a professional accounting qualification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Upon joining, you will be doing field work on audit assignments under supervision, accompanied with coaching from colleagues. Initially, you will be assigned to basic work by sections of clients’ audits. The initial audit work will comprise of checking financial records, testing controls, stock counts exercise, fixed asset register, payroll and other primary duties suitable to a Junior Auditor. The objective is for you to first understand and appreciate the piece-meal audit exercises with a view to complete the jigsaw within a reasonable period of time as to the meaning of a full audit. Hence, preparing you for your professional careers and the future.
